About Shift'n Gears Auto Repair
History
Jimmy has over two decades of experience with 15 years of experience as a lead ASE Master Certified Technician. His work at a local transmission shop allowed him the opportunity to accept taking over the business when the previous owner retired. Jimmy started his training right out of high school, starting as a smog tech and working his way up to becoming a Master ASE Certified technician. Today, he owns Shift N Gears Auto Repair with its own local weekly radio program on KPRL and numerous spots on national podcasts and local magazines.
Leigh-Ann always had a passion for education and community service. She pursued her calling and earned multiple Bachelor’s degrees from UCSB and a Masters from ASU. Her years were spent working in various industries that have all culminated in a unique skill set that has allowed her to become an asset in running Shift N Gears Auto Repair.
Together, they reopened the previous shop as Shift N Gears in 2017. With their vision in hand and combined knowledge with a little hard work, Shift’ N Gears Auto Repair has been providing superior service to this community ever since.
